Jaba is a devotee in a temple. She has lost her parents in her childhood. Jaba helps the priest in the temple ceremonies and rituals. Arun returns to the village after a stint abroad. He is an aspiring doctor. His aunt and uncle have borrowed a loan from Jaga, a moneylender. Jaga is a criminal. Aruna’s uncle and aunt want to transfer the loan to Arun. Arun falls in love with Jaba and marries her. His uncle and aunt get angry and try to separate the couple. Gopal tries to kill Arun and Jaba’s daughter. Jaba prays to the goddess and she is blessed. She helps her famy ward off the crisis.
